ParticipantI am planning an upgrading of an oo guage loco and plan to reguage into EM. The current chassis is Wrenn 0-6-0 how supporting a Wills superstructure. Can anyone suggest resources of where to look to buy locomotive brake rigging? Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, thanks Dean

Nick RidgwayParticipantAlan Gibson Workshop (not an endorsement) produces brake rigging.
The challenge is going to get the holes in the <…Wrenn…chassis…> in the right place.
Perhaps a short article for the Newsletter when it’s figured out? 🙂

Trade OfficerKeymasterI hold some of AG brake rigging in the stores. Not sure if they are what you are looking for
I will post picture on the items in the store later today (an incentive to get a few more items with better descriptions 🙂 )

Frank DaviesParticipantBrake rigging is anything but generic and so you first need to study the brakes of the specific prototype locomotive. The pull rods might be single or double down the length of the locomotive or may be a combination. The rods across the locomotive connecting the left and right brake hangers may be a rod or a much wider yoke depending upon the forces that the rod must withstand. Ideally you need an engineering drawing of the prototype otherwise its all guess work.
What is your prototype locomotive?
