ParticipantHi Guys
I am just getting back into EM gauge and besides the adverts in the railway magazines, is there a list of all the suppliers anywhere?
I now have three SR(LBSCR) terriers in various states and I now wish to build three perseverance chasses for them but I am not sure if they are still going or who may have taken them over, hence my inquiry.
Regards

ParticipantSorry Colin – I wrote a long reply to you but the fugging EMGS software lost it again, as usual!
Your best (only?) bet is here: https://www.wizardmodels.ltd/shop/locomotive/lcp53/
Best,

ParticipantHi Paul
Thank you for that that does help with one project, I think that site has a lot of useful bits on it.
Since I now have 3 terriers to get to EM gauge standards I think I will need two chassis etches since one has the perseverance etch and the others are 1 Hornby and 1 Dapol model.

Colin

Stuart FirthParticipantHi Colin – Perseverance are long gone sadly but as Paul says, Wizard Models sell the Comet chassis kit for the Terrier, and Branchlines also sell a chassis kit for it. They are not on-line but details below from their catalogue:

Stuart FirthParticipantI’m assuming he was at Scaleforum? Perhaps someone could confirm as I wasn’t able to get there this year. If so it’s possible he’s been busy with the preparations/travel etc.

Richard SlipperParticipantBranchlines was at Scaleforum.

John CutlerParticipantI can recommend the Branchline chassis for the Terrier. It is more detailed than the Comet version. I successfully built one of these many years ago with crude springs and it ran quite well. Now I have to figure out how to fit it underneath Hornby’s new body.

ParticipantYes once I have made contact with Branchlines, I may very well have to buy three chassis since I now have one whitemetal version and one each of the Dapol and Hornby models

ParticipantWell, it now appears that Markits are no longer, so I was wondering if anyone has a replacement supplier that they have started to use?
I do hope that the family of Markits find someone to continue the company as it was a very useful bits supplier.

Stuart FirthParticipantFor wheels I usually use Alan Gibson. Not quite so user friendly as Markits but much nicer to look at.
