Lima and Hornby GWR railcar

  I have a Hornby GWR railcar and a Lima GWR Express Parcels railcar.
  
  Has anyone converted one of these to EM and if so what are the issues involved?

  Hi, I’ve upgraded the Lima version with Ultrascale drop-ins. No issues at all. Although I have a replacement motor, I have not incorporated it (yet) because the growly Lima sounds like the real thing!

  If you are prepared to wait for the wheel-sets to arrive from Ultrascale (and don’t mind the price), this conversion is an absolute doddle. It took me longer to type this than to do the conversion!
