So following on from a thread I started over on converting RTR locos where kit building started to be discussed, here are a couple of examples of my progress.  Like most I probably have more kits stashed away waiting to be built but these two are my current projects.  Both are SEF white metal kits one is an M7 and the other a G6, and my skills and abilities are probably best described as average!

I think I shall have to up the progress rate a little as I have been invited to show at the Basingstoke show in March next year, although I have a number of locos I can use it would be nice to have at least one of these two running, there is an Ian Kirk push pull set to go with the M7 too.

0-4-4Ts are a bu&&er to get right on the basis of weight distribution and bunker end throw.

I have three 0-4-4Ts based on the Flexichas principle and I will bring them to the NW Surrey Area Group for review. Of all thee possibilities, the 0-4-4T arrangement is well suited by it.

Can’t make it to this months meet as I suspect I will be a little jetlagged.  Would like to take a look at them sometime though.
