Chatham Show 2024

Hello all – for those who aren’t aware, the Chatham show is back, and re-instated at its old venue, the historic dockyard, on 20th/21st July.

I am not involved with the show, but they were kind enough to ask us (the Essex Area Group) to attend with our demo stand, as we used to do in the past. They also asked if we had a smallish layout we could also bring, and Andy Avis has kindly agreed to attend with ‘Express Daisy Sidings’.

If you are in the area why not come along and see us, and all the other exhibits of course!

The show went really well and they gave us more space to set up than I have ever seen before!

It was also an inspired idea to ask us to bring a layout, and ‘Express Daisy Sidings’ was a real draw with Andy handing out certificates to those who succeeded in completing the puzzle. Thanks to Andy, Bob, Timara, and Chris for a good two days. Andy – is 86 a good score???
