There’s been a lot of discussion about this on RMWeb, and the consensus appears to be that:
- Mark’s equipment is worth a great deal of money.
- A person with considerable skill would be needed to run it.
- The market is reducing with more and more people going RTR.
Therefore most feel the range is lost for good, but there’s no harm in crossing our fingers. I must admit I prefer Gibson and Sharman but if this loss leads to fewer people bothering with kits and scratchbuilding, then that puts other ranges at risk I suspect. I’ve gotten myself quite depressed now, and I’m going back to hoarding of kits and bits, my safe space !
