As the (previous) Board decided to depreciate the tooling over 3 years, I am rather hoping that the sales covered that capital cost well within that period. Can you tell us the break-even in terms of months? If within 36 months, that is very good and should encourage us to (carefully) invest in more product lines for EM.
I am not so sure about the need to invest in more Ready-To-Lay trackwork now that the excellent British Fine Trax EM turnout kits are available (and I think the range is being expanded). However, RTL track does make EM gauge more attractive for newcomers.
Similarly I wonder if EM conversions could be made easier for newbies. I believe Rapido and Accurascale are more amenable to allow for EM wheels than Bachmann or Hornby. Maybe they can be encouraged to produce wheels to the EMGS profile rather than to the US RP25 standard? With a contribution to that tooling?
