The same picture was reproduced in MRJ245 and certainly looks bright; more a yellowish spring grass/apple green rather than the (comparatively) blueish Malachite. It made me wonder whether the early BR colour was the same as the late SR Bullied malachite; the answer is they probably used their old SR paint stock!

I guess that the reproduction process affects the print colour, but also the lighting used for the photo must also influence this.
