    I assume you are aware of Metropolitan Junction by D. A. Williams? It was started in 1948, in 16.5 mm gauge 3-rail and converted to EM gauge 2-rail in 1950 by moving one rail out. A short length of track still shows evidence of this work. Three of the locomotives date from the late 1940’s and were converted to EM gauge. The layout is erected for North West Surrey Group meetings from time to time and receives mentions in Group reports in the newsletter. A recent photo with post nationalisation interlopers is attached.
