Stuart, thanks for posting the details of your method, which are interesting to see and read about. I appreciate the detail about patiently moving the assembled unit around, until a (mechanically) stress-free position is achieved. I admit to wanting a seam of solder around the horncheek, which no doubt adds to the frustrations I encounter. Cheers.
