Hi Paul,
Have you thought about building your own? It will be a really simple exercise in modelling.
Two frames of approximate dimensions, a couple of spacers in the right places for the body mounting, and add motor and gearbox to taste. Springing or compensation are optional, but would add smoothness and reliability to running.
The key is that the side skirts hide all manner of mechanical sins. This is the Crude But Effective chassis that sites beneath my tram:
And from underneath, showing the simple pickups:
And this is what rides on top, completely hiding the crudeness of the mechanics:
Give it a try – you’ll be surprised how easy it is.
Best,
Paul

Paul, Thank you for the reply and the inspiration. As you say, they don’t come much simpler than this. Cheers.

Are you still seeking a D&S chassis – I think I have one. See below.
It has been built to P4, I think it will need to be taken a apart and the spacers reduced by about 1mm for EM. It has a gear box but no motor, nor do I have the coupling rods!!
I would like to retain the body but happy for you have the chassis.

Hello Paul, and thank you for replying! I decided to bite the bullet and make my own (see below). As I’ve done the hard work, and it seems to roll along quite smoothly, I will pass on your kind offer – but Cheers, anyway!
