Southwark Bridge Models was initially started to supply only the requirements of the Southwark Bridge layout (a P4 layout LSWR c 1912) that were not available from other sources. Frustration with available products that were either incorrect dimensionally or simply would not fit together prompted further kits to appear.

Just released – The modified versions of the LSWR Bogie Directors Saloon. These conversions involved adding extra doors in the sides and ends. The gas tanks were also moved around and it was converted to electric lighting and finally, a new, wider underframe was fitted!. These conversions extended the working life of the vehicle as it ran until 1961 and carried BR crimson livery. It was finally scrapped 1963/64..
