Just a small extract from the catalogue:

PowerPack Chassis Kits

Whether you’re converting an OO gauge RTR model to P4/ EM, or are looking for much-improved performance and prototypically correct detail, these kits provide the components you need to build a completely new chassis for your 4mm scale steam locomotives.

High Level PowerPacks are custom-designed to fit specific proprietary models and include sideframes of prototypical outline (with optional cut-outs for hornblocks), OO/EM/P4 chassis spacers, full spring and brake gear detail, coupling rods and dummy inside motion, as well as cosmetic detailing parts.

Each kit comes complete with its own bespoke High Level ‘Precision’ gearbox which is completely concealed within the structure of the locomotive. The mechanisms feature double-reduction gearing to give you enhanced controllability with superb smooth low-speed running.

L.Y.R. ‘Pug’ Chassis Kit

High Level technology now enables you to build a highly detailed, accurate and smooth-running chassis for the much-loved Dapol 'Pug', latterly available from Hornby. The kit includes a custom-designed 108:1 gearbox for ultra-realistic operation at slow shunting speeds.

Simple modifications to the plastic body mouldings allow you to conceal the motor inside the saddle tank, with cast and etched parts provided for the cab details. The compensated chassis utilises the existing Dapol cylinder assembly and the model can be built in P4 or EM or OO without modification.  £48 or £38 excl. motor

Armstrong Whitworth 0-4-0 diesel-electric

£69

Two versions of this classic early diesel can be built from this kit - a standard jackshaft-driven industrial or The Lady Armstrong, which worked passenger trains on the North Sunderland Railway from 1934-46. This is a revised version of our original kit with extra detail and includes a new design of 108:1 gearbox. For The Lady Armstrong (top speed 30mph) we can supply alternative 80:1 or 60:1 gears on request.

Andrew Barclay 0-6-0 18in side tank

A typically pugnacious pre-war Barclay, this kit is based on the Waterside system's famous 'Big Yin'. Engines of similar design were found at industrial locations the length and breadth of the country - Polkemmet colliery in Midlothian kept one hard at work until 1978! The new issue of this popular kit includes 108:1 gearbox (80:1 and 60:1 are also offered)   £84
