C&L produce a complete range of track making components for the serious modeller. These are available for track construction in EM gauge and 18.83mm The system is fully compatible with the 'Brooksmith' ply and rivet system, as supplied by the EM Gauge Society and the Scalefour Society.

The heart of the C&L Finescale range is the functional plastic running rail chair. The track system, in both 4mm and 7mm scales, revolves around running rail chairs moulded in ABS plastic. These are threaded on to sections of rail, and then bonded to sleepers, also made from ABS plastic, using a liquid solvent glue. Slide chairs and longer timbers for turnout construction are also available, together with an extensive range of templates on which to construct the track. The resultant fully keyed trackwork has been met with much acclaim and favourable reviews. To augment the individual components, metre lengths of flexible track are also available in 00, EM, P4 and O gauge.

Within the C&L product listings are the Carrs Modelling Products range of Solders, Fluxes, Metal Treatment chemicals, ballasts and a useful range of Scenic items.

The C&L Finescale system is sold direct, via a secure on-line ordering system, or by telephone ordering. The C&L exhibition is present at most of the major shows and there are also a number of regional stockists.
